MDSC 8th Annual Hockey Benefit Game with Boston Bruins Alumni!
The MDSC strives to ensure individuals with Down syndrome in Massachusetts are valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives by providing information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome and their families, educators, health care professionals, and the community-at-large.
The Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) is sharpening its skates for its 8th Annual Hockey Benefit Game on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Twenty MDSC All-Stars will take to the ice and face-off against the Boston Bruins Alumni at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA to support the Down syndrome community and raise vital funds for MDSC programs and services.
This is a wonderful family event with opportunities to meet and get autographs from former Bruins Greats, such as Rick Middleton, Bob Sweeney, Reggie Lemelin, Glen Featherstone, and many more! The raffle and auction open at 12:00pm followed by a Free Skate at 12:30pm with the Boston Bruins Alumni, Blades the Bear, Bruins Ice Girls, and the Worcester Sharks mascot, Finz. The action-packed game begins at 2:00pm. Tickets are only $10.00 for adults and children (12 & under) are FREE. All students also get in free if they wear their school or Boston Bruins jersey.
