Honoring Gene Lavanchy; Supporting Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress
On Friday, March 16th the Friends of Saint Patrick held our 26th Annual Luncheon. It was a great day to get together to have a lot of laughs, sing a lot of songs and raise a lot of money for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress and the Horace Mann Educational Association.
Each of these organizations serve many people and enhance the quality of their clients lives. We, along with Fox 25’s morning show host and Walpole native Gene Lavanchy, are delighted to have raised funds to support these worthy causes. For years Gene, our 2012 Person of the Year, has been the spokesperson for these organizations, using his voice to speak for those who might otherwise not be heard.
Our luncheon is held each year on the Friday before St. Patrick’s Day. Click play on the video below to see a clip from this year’s event, and if you have a chance, please join us next year. You’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time!
