Down Syndrome Congress presents Bruins alumni game in Marlborough

The Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) is sharpening its skates for its eighth annual Hockey Benefit Game on Sunday, Nov. 18.

Twenty MDSC all-stars will face off against the Boston Bruins Alumni at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough to support the Down syndrome community and raise vital funds for MDSC programs and services.
This is a family event with opportunities to meet and get autographs from former Bruins greats, such as Rick Middleton, Bob Sweeney, Reggie Lemelin and Glen Featherstone, according to MDSC.
The event also features a raffle and a silent auction with sports memorabilia, sports tickets, exciting experiences, and more.

The raffle and auction open at 12 p.m. followed by a free skate at 12:30 p.m. The game begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and children (12 and younger) are free. All students also get in free if they wear their school or Boston Bruins jersey.
