Events

The MDSC is at the forefront of Down syndrome advocacy, championing policies and causes important to the Down syndrome community. We also provide parents, educators, health care professionals, people with Down syndrome and the community-at-large with the latest information and networking opportunities.

Central to the MDSC’s work is the many events we organize, host and support throughout the year; events that give us and our partners the opportunity to educate, outreach, publicize our work and raise the necessary funds to continue our critical mission.

These events draw more than 6,000 participants. They include the MDSC’s Buddy Walk® Program, our Annual Hockey Game with the Boston Bruins Alumni, the Annual Conference, Annual Educators Forum, and endurance events such as the Boston Marathon and Falmouth Road Race. We also provide support for business owners and community members who hold their own community fundraisers to support the MDSC.
