Morning Travelers and the MDSC Sweetheart Dance 2011

The MDSC routinely collaborates with local Down syndrome support groups throughout the year to plan and co-host regional events. As the state’s leading information and advocacy organization for people with Down syndrome and their families, the MDSC is eager to share our up-to-date, accurate information and resources with support groups across the state, including yours.

These events can help bring important topics or essential activities to support groups who may not otherwise have the resources to organize and host them. The MDSC is eager to partner with you to plan functions that are educational, social, inspirational, or health-related; or any other topic (or combination of topics) that promote inclusion and well-being for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

The MDSC greatly appreciates what the local Down syndrome support groups do daily to educate, and inspire our families in Massachusetts. We understand that regional events can be an effective tool for outreaching and bringing new members to your group, and we are happy to help you brainstorm topics or activities that would be a good fit for your members. We have the capacity to help plan a limited number of events each year. Requests will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis.
