Prepare to be On Your Way on Sunday, October 12 as we gather as a community for MDSC’s 2025 Buddy Walk, once again returning to the shores of Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield for the largest gathering of the Down syndrome community in New England and one of the largest in the country.
Register below so that you and your family can be a part of the warmth and determination of our community as we celebrate and raise awareness and funds for all our loved ones with Down syndrome. And, if you can’t join us in person, don’t fret…. you can instead Buddy Walk In Your Community anytime, anywhere throughout the month of October.

Co-hosted by the MDSC and the Boston Children’s Down Syndrome Program, join us as we learn some signs for common words and discuss how including sign language in daily routines can promote communication for babies and young children with Down syndrome. Signs will be translated into Spanish and Portuguese.

Hosted by Mass Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) and Boston Children’s Hospital Down Syndrome Program
Topic: Supports for dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Presentation by BCH Patient and Family Educator Paige Sinsebox MPH, followed by Q&A

Parents and caregivers are invited to stay for the Parent & Caregiver Session which will take place in a conference room at the Brookline Teen Center. For the first session, we will be focusing on getting to know one another, learning about each other’s priorities, brainstorming for future speakers/presenters, and taking some time to network with one another! Snacks and drinks will be provided.
*AIM Meetups ARE drop off events. Parents and caregivers are not obligated to stay for the Parent & Caregiver Session.
